Bishop Sam Maingi began his ministry journey at the age of 19, right after completing his O-level education in Makueni County. In 1992 he moved to Nairobi for college, where his passion for souls led him to start a vibrant campus fellowship that brought many to Christ.
In 1993 he joined RGC Saints Alive Centre under the late Bishop James Mungania, serving faithfully for 16 years as Youth Leader, Deacon, Evangelist, Worship Leader and Cell Group Leader. There he pioneered a powerful prayer movement known for “The Wrestlers Night.”
He later founded CCI Saints Restoration Centre with just 13 members. It has since grown to 14 branches under his oversight as Bishop. He holds a Theology degree from Landmark Theological Baptist Seminary (Fort Worth, Texas) and has completed leadership studies with LTI and Daystar University.
He is married to Pastor Millicent Maingi, and they are blessed with three children: Glad, Vicky and Joseph Mbithi.
